Need For Speed Shift 2009 On Windows 7 Vs. Vista
Need for Speed Shift was released on Sep. 15 2009. So I got it and couldn’t wait to test it on my machine. So I decided that I will install it on both OS’ – Windows 7 and Windows Vista. I have both in dual boot mode.

I was surprised to discover that NFS Shift was actually running a lot better on Windows 7 and by a lot I mean about 50%. On Windows Vista my graphics default settings were very low compared to those in Windows 7.
This clearly shows that Windows 7 is going to be the chose of OS for the hard core PC gamers.
Need For Speed Shift is a great game maybe one of the best of the NFS series. The car collection is great. The game experience is very exiting. There is a great simulation of the race driving.

GAMER.. What exactly is your question? I have tested it by buying the game and installing it on my computer. The game runs without problem on both Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
well i tried playin it in win7 64bit but its not workin the game doesnt start at all….dude help me out….it was workin in win vista 32bit…
Imran, are u using a cracked version or you have original DVD of the game?
the game runs 1st of all,
when u click start a game, it shows a video and then a window shows that WINDOWS IS TRYNG TO FIND A PROBLEM”
the error even shows when installed from original DVD—->complete waste of money

grafix memory 782 MB 3 GB RAM 2 GHz(lenovo SL400c)
is it that the game only runs only in PC(desktop) and not laptops?

I bought the original shift dvd and installed it in my pc which runs on windows 7 32 bit, 2GB ram and a core2duo processor…but when the game is about to start i get a message “NFS shift stopped working” and my game crashes out…pls help me as i saved my money the whole year to get this game……
A question for the poster…I was curious as to what video card you have installed in your computer. Also, how high would you say you can set all the settings with your video card?

Cant tell u the rest since i dont have the game anymore… but the defaults were as good as it got..
